Control cable for the Sotabeams Contest Console, automates the tuning process of an external tuner. The cable connects to the 'Tuner' socket of the Icom transceiver.
With this cable, tuning an external tuner requires only pressing the 'Tune' button on the Contest Console. The radio switches to low power, briefly transmits a CW carrier and then switches back to the previously set power and mode.
