Technical description SG-7900
The Diamond SG-7900 operates on VHF (2m) and UHF (70 cm).
Excellent performance even while driving, thanks to good gain values on both bands.
Due to its length and robust construction, the weight of this antenna is 600 gramms.
The VSWR is specified by the manufacturer as better than 1.5:1.
On VHF the antenna is designed as a 7/8 radiator, in the UHF band as 3x 5/8 radiator.
Due to the "Radial-Less" design of the SG-7900, this antenna can also be used without counterweight.
Application description SG-7900
With the PL connector integrated in the antenna base, the antenna can be attached to a heavy magnetic base or a PL base with cable.
A particularly practical feature of an antenna of this length is the articulated joint. This means that the antenna can be folded down in a flash before entering the garage or underground car park without having to remove it.
