EU VAT reform as of 01.07.2021: X

As part of the so-called "Digitalpaket", the introduction of a new VAT system with far-reaching changes for cross-border online trade with consumers is being driven forward at EU level.

As of 01.07.2021, in B2C distance selling (transactions with end consumers), the previously applicable VAT delivery thresholds in the EU will be abolished and tax amounts will be owed directly in the country of delivery.

The so-called "distance selling regulation" will then apply.

From this point on, cross-border deliveries of goods to non-entrepreneurs will be taxable in the destination member state, and the corresponding amount of VAT will be payable there.

This means, for example, that as of 1.7.21, 20% VAT will be shown on invoices for deliveries to France, and 25% VAT will be shown on invoices for deliveries to Italy. The recipient in Italy therefore no longer benefits from the 19% VAT rate in Germany.

The preamps are inserted in the coax cable; power supply via the coax cable. Most modern transceivers feature a built-in power supply for mast preamps which eliminates the use of a separate remote power supply. However, we offer various remote power supplies with bias-Tee's with (DCW-15) and without (DCC-12) sequencer.

Alternatively the preamps may be supplied by using a separate DC line feed. The coax DC feed, however, seems better suited than feeding the DC voltage over a separate line; the separate line may function as a long wire antenna and catch a lot of inductive voltages along the way.

The preamps are either RF sensed (VOX) or PTT (hard keyed); operations up to 100 Watt is guaranteed. For higher power we recommend the PTT-operations or a sequencer (e.g. DCW 2004 B). The typical noise figure is 0.9 dB at 15dBm IP3. The gain is adjustable between 10 dB and 20 dB. The adjustable gain features enough gain reserve in case of extensive antenna cables and prevents front-end overdrive in case of using very short antenna cabling.

Out-of-band signals are effectively eliminated by the use of high performance helical filters. For the transmit-receive function real coax relais are used. Each and every preamplifier is tested, measured and tuned to meet the specs before delivery commences. The casing is a two cabinet construction with shielded inner box and a UV-protected weatherproof housing with mast clamp.
