Lightweight antenna with SMA socket ( outer thread, inner conductor female) for many newer handheld radios with SMA connector (there is a recessed SMA connector on the device (inner thread and inner conductor a pin). This design has the advantage that the radio has no protruding antenna socket. The leverage of the antenna is transferred directly to the housing and not just to a small SMA socket.
The SRJ77 from Diamond can be used for the two amateur radio bands 2m and 70cm (dual band antenna), on many other bands it works excellently as a receiving antenna. The radiator is 45 cm long and flexible. The weight is 100 g. The maximum permissible transmitting power is 10 watts.
