Ultraflex-13 from the Italian manufacturer Messi & Paoloni: Excellent cable with low attenuation and for highest power levels (up to 18kW peak!). The Ultraflex-13 can also be used excellently on VHF, UHF and SHF. Areas of application: demanding radio amateurs in the VHF range, contest stations, and also for WLAN or LTE at 2.4GHz or WLAN at 5 GHz. The Ultraflex-13 cable has an improved construction of the inner conductor with 19 (instead of 7) wires. This makes the cable much more flexible and very suitable for use with antenna rotation systems. The cable has a double shielding (shielding factor 105dB) with tear-resistant PE-foil with copper coating (coverage 100%) as well as a very dense stranded braid with 168 wires in 24 strands (coverage 70%). The 3-layer foamed dielectric together with the flexible and UV-resistant PVC sheathing ensures good mechanical stability. With the types 'N' and 'PL' the common connectors are also available for this 1/2-inch cable.
