- Ultraflex-7 coaxial cable
Ultraflex-7 from the Italian manufacturer Messi & Paoloni: Ultraflex-7 has an outer diameter of 7.3mm and is similar in construction to Airborne-5, but has a plastic-coated copper foil and a stranded inner conductor. It is a coaxial cable for higher powers and with low attenuation. The jacket is made of PVC with UV-resistant coating. Load capacity: 3.7 KW at 3.5 MHz / 1KW at 144 MHz. Coax connectors for 7.3 mm cable fit.
Application: Situations where low attenuation is required but a thick 10 mm cable cannot be used for structural reasons, for example in vehicles. VHF/UHF FM radio, professional radio, digital transmission such as Tetra and DMR, amateur radio on short wave and VHF and UHF.
