Technical description X6200
The Xiegu X6200 is a portable HF/6m band radio that utilizes a powerful DRFS (Direct RF sampling) architecture. The new RF architecture provides higher receiver sensitivity and lower noise floor resulting in a better performance, especially in weak signals, than its predecessor.
The rich features of this portable shortwave transceiver include a built-in antenna tuner and a 4-inch color display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and waterfall spectrum display, great to monitor band activity in real time. The use of SDR technology also enables digital filters with variable width and digital noise suppression.
The device has two USB interfaces, which can also be used for remote control. The XPA125B amplifier can be connected and automatically controlled via the ACC interface.
In battery mode, a transmission power of 5 watts is achieved; with an external power supply, a maximum output power of 8 watts can be achieved,
There is also a 3.5 mm socket for connecting Morse keys and a connection for an external loudspeaker or headphones.
The X6200 has two installation slots for easy installation of expansion components, which can be used to further extend the device's range of functions.
Application description X6200
The possible uses of the handy Xiegu X6200 are extremely diverse. In portable use, you benefit in particular from the ability to change the battery on the back of the device at any time, while the built-in antenna tuner enables problem-free operation even with less perfectly tuned antennas. The useful SWR scanner, which provides real-time information on the current standing wave ratio, helps you tune your antenna and makes it unnecessary to carry an additional analyzer. This saves time during commissioning and valuable space in your hiking rucksack.
Whether SSB, AM, FM, CW or digital modes, the Xiegu X6200 offers maximum flexibility in a robust, ultra-compact housing.
A "voice pager" contributes significantly to the ease of use; this feature enables the transmission of recorded messages, such as a CQ call.
Another new feature is the factory-integrated carrying handles, which not only improve the handling of the device and set visual accents, but also offer additional protection against damage.
Outside of the amateur radio bands, reception of VHF radio stations in WFM is possible, and thanks to the broadband shortwave receiver, radio stations from all over the world and other radio services can be heard.
