Compact Monoband-Beam with Moxon element for 10m.The "10MOX" is a
compact yagi antenna with a moxon element as a radiator. A moxon design
has several benefits – due to the folded element the construction
becomes very compact, the fron/back ratio is very favourable, and the
antenna has a large bandwidth. Additionally the antenna is tuned nicely
to 50 Ω impedance, so the design can avoid any lossy transformation
elements like a balun. With extra elements on the short boom, the design
results in a very small beam with attractive features.
